1986
A Family-Run Business Success
It all started in 1986 by a man named Don Perrin
From there, Doorcare has only grown into one of the largest installation, service and repair companies for both residential and commercial garage doors.
2008
A New Beginning
The business changes hands
Now President, Dave Arts bought the business in 2008
2012
Growing Rapidly
Dave purchased Hi-Tek Doors in 2012 to increase Doorcare’s presence in the commercial service market.
2013
Safety is key
with Safedoor PM
In 2013 Doorcare implemented Safedoor PM software to the business to increase the level of service for our customers.
2016
The sky’s the limit!
Another company is purchased
Doorcare purchased WK Garage Doors, based out of Abbotsford in 2016 to increase coverage in the Fraser Valley.
2018
Yet another company purchase in 2018
Mountain High Garage Door is purchased
As another key strategy to cover the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley, Doorcare purchases Mountain High Garage Door to increase its presence.
2019
New Beginnings
In 2019 Scott Jessiman joins the team
With a focus on growth, Scott Jessiman joined the business as Dave’s partner along with filling the role of VP & GM.
